It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Therese Voelkel of Silver Spring, Maryland, who passed away on October 29, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Voelkel; her brother John Bovello; and her niece Suzi Strauss. She is survived by: her daughter Maria Lillian Voelkel of Silver Spring; her aunts, Joanne Wasel and Janet Hampson; her siblings, Kathy Bovello (Joan Lee) and Joe Bovello (Bunnie); her nieces and nephews, Amy Vecchiarelli, Patrick Bovello (Melissa), Debbie Byerly, Joe Silverman (Nicole), David, Adam Silverman, Christine Jelinek (Stephen), Stephanie Mair (Claudio), Mary, Julia, Michael, Nicholas Hippchen, Katrina, Trisden and Kyra Bovello; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashlee Bovello, Sean Michael, Ryan Vecchiarelli, Matthew, Brooke Byerly, Gia Silverman, Zoey, Brooks Silverman, Lily, Stephen, Annie, Olivia, Abby, Chloe, Katie, Ben Jelinek, Alex and Adriana Mair. She is also survived by 11 children.
