We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2024, at the age of 105, Mary Theresa Duggan of Silver Spring, Maryland passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Theresa Duggan to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald C. Duggan; her son Edward P. Duggan; and her siblings, Sara Tomasulo, Anthony, Placido and Vincent Bonanno.

She is survived by: her daughters, Maureen D. Root and Joanne D. Welch; her grandchildren, Lisa Duggan Weems, Jeffry R. Duggan, Kelly Root Dyott, Matthew Root, Erika Wincheski, Morgan Bassett and Kevin Welch; her great grandchildren, Alison Sadler, Julia Duggan, Jacob Weems, Carson Weems, Olivia Grace Dyott, Hazel Lillian Root and Juniper Marie Root; her siblings, Rose Attanasio and Salvatore "Sam" Bonanno; and her children-in-law, Russell Root and Kenneth Welch.

Memorial contributions may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater DC-Maryland Chapter, One M Street S.E., Ste. 510, Washington, DC 20003.
