It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lee Hedgpeth of Silver Spring, Maryland, born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Satterwhite (Newsome) and Clarence Hunter Satterwhite; her husband Richard Hedgpeth; her son Richard Hedgpeth III; and her siblings, Kenneth, Lillian, Marjorie, Christine and Nancy.

She is survived by: her son Thomas Hedgpeth; her grandchildren, Richard, Thomas Jr., Alexa, Brooke and Jennifer; and her great grandchild Ira.
