Mary Kathleen Helmer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Kathleen Helmer (Silver Spring, Maryland), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on May 12, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Captain Dale; her parents, Patrick Kyne and Kathleen Donnelly Kyne; her son John Paul Helmer (Halee); her grandchildren, Hannah and Sean of Frederick, MD; her son David Andrew Helmer (Nicole Bruffy Helmer); her granddaughter Adelaide of Buckhead, GA.; and her siblings, Theresa Kyne Robinson of Rockville, MD, Patrick Kyne of Potomac Md, Elizabeth Heinsohn of Annapolis Md and Kathleen Loveland of Charleston, SC.. She was also cherished by three sons.

Due to current limitations, as result of the pandemic, visitation will be staggered with a limit of 50 at a time, contact funeral home for details.

The family request that, in lieu, of flowers a donation be made to University of Miami ALS Research Center.
