She was predeceased by: her husband William Mudd; her son Chaplain David A. Mudd; her parents, Angelo Trotta and Rosa Malia; and her siblings, Ralph Trotta, Jeanette T. Williams and Rose M. Trotta.

She is survived by: her children, William R. Mudd, James M. Mudd, John S. Mudd (Ellen), Robert B. Mudd and Maryrose Mudd; her brother-in-law Donald William; her niece Juliana Trotta; her grandchildren, Marie-Therese F. David, Steven B. Mudd, Annarosa F. Mudd, Elise N. Mudd and Nicholas B. Mudd (Melanie); and her great grandchildren, Andrew F. Witte, Marianna F. Witte and Jackson D. Mudd. She is also survived by many other cousins and friends.
