It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martin Charles McHugh of Silver Spring, Maryland, who passed away on February 18, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Bates McHugh; and his sibling Gerry McHugh. He is survived by: his children, Robert McHugh, Megan McHugh Cole (AJ), John McHugh (Isabelle) and Terence McHugh (Alexandra); his grandchildren, Zam McHugh, Molly, Bridget, Evan, Kendra Cole, Kyle, Colin, Caleb McHugh, Terence "Tucker" and Martin "Mack" McHugh; his siblings, Dennis McHugh (Clare) and Patricia O'Hara (Tom); his nieces and nephews, Patrick, Katie, Kevin, Brendan, Courtney, Mike, Erin and Kelly; and his former wife Maureen Collins McHugh. He is also survived by many cousins and close friends.
