He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alma Ree and Marion Davis Barnes; his wife Elisse; his daughter Gabrielle (Daniel); his grandchildren, McKenna, Raiden and Adonis; and his sisters, Cynthia Barnes and Mary Frye. He was also cherished by cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family, friends, co-workers.
