We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Marilyn Wenzke Nickels (Silver Spring, Maryland), born in Dayton, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Eugene and Margaret; and her parents, Frank Wenzke and Rita Wenzke. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth E. Nickels; her son John (Anna); her grandchildren, Jude and Noam; her siblings, Jerome (Nancy), James (Ellie), Frank (Kathleen), Janet Pettry (James), Robert (Ruth), Edward (Joyce), Stephen (Gillian) and Teresa; and her cousins, Thomas (Debbie) and William Thornton (Carla). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private gathering for immediate family will be held in Silver Spring, Maryland on Friday, October 8 at 10:00 a. m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marilyn's memory to Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center at hopkinscancer.org.
