With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Anita Painter (Silver Spring, Maryland), born in Ansted, West Virginia, who passed away on January 15, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Richmond Grose and Mamie Violet Grose (Hinkle); and her sister Martha Price. She is survived by: her daughters, Leah Painter Roberts (Walker Roberts) of Washington, DC and Kristen Painter (late Elijah Wallfred) of Baltimore, MD; her grandchildren, Holden, Maren, Andrew Roberts, Peyton and Asher Wallfred; her siblings, Melvin Grose, Sr. and Boomer; her husband Joseph McReynolds Painter; and her grandchildren, Marilyn and Frederick, MD.

A Covid-compliant passthrough viewing will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Francis J. Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Blvd, West, Silver Spring, MD.
