It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Ifill Philip (Silver Spring, Maryland), who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleanor and Reverend O. Urcille Ifill; her husband Oliver Norris Philip; her son Daniel Philip; and her siblings, Gwendolyn Ifill, Oliver Ifill and Richard Ifill.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Philip, Joyce Philip, Veda Philip, Paul Philip, Peter Philip, Ray Philip, Samuel Philip and David Philip; her grandchildren, Craig Philip, Joselle Royer, Wesley, Juliette Pluviose-Philip, Thabani, Ntando, Briya, Briyanna, Damani, Paul Joseph, Kara, Kayla, Darren, Thandie, Amina and Ajani Philip; and her brothers, Earle Ifill and Roberto Ifill.
