LiYi Cai Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2024, at the age of 95, LiYi Cai (Silver Spring, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his children, Qingwu Cai and Ming Cai; his children-in-law, Yueqin Li, Jin Huang and Peng Yan; his grandchildren, Weisong Cai (Yan Wang), Sophie Yan, Jessie Cai (Phil Comerford), Janie Cai, Mulin Cai and Ella Mei Comerford; his sister Liyuan Cai (Gao Lin); and his wife Meipu Xu. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to his significant contributions to mega port-construction projects, he also participated in several significant infrastructure developments overseas.
