We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Leola Patterson Borroum of Silver Spring, Maryland, born in Leland, Mississippi. She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Patterson and Van Patterson. She is survived by: her children, Walter Patterson, Dwight Patterson, Van P McGhee of Olive Branch, MS and Kim Patterson. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.

Due to the Covid-19 stipulations we can only allow fifteen people in the building at a time for viewing.

When she was done, I knew she was someone special. Her worship was real! I was so taken with Mother Leola that I asked her to do us the honor of delivering the prayer for Women's Day 2015. We will cherish the times we spent with Mother Leola. Rest in Peace!”
