He is survived by: his spouse Patricia Van Ness; his children, Keith Van Ness, Jr. (Holly), Jim Van Ness (Dorothy) and Susan Roy; his child-in-law Nick Roy; his grandchildren, Jessica, Ross (Stacy), Kristin, Melissa (Jackson), Kelly and Daniel; and his great grandchildren, Ella and Hank.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Montgomery Hills Baptist Church – Rise Against Hunger.
