It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph W. Brannan of Silver Spring, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph William Brannan, Sr. and Mina Lucille Jackson; his daughter Lori Kristine Brannan; and his brother James Thomas Brannan. He is survived by: his wife Roberta "Lynn" Brannan of Silver Spring, MD; his stepdaughters, Kimberly Smith and Kaitlyn McKinley; his children, Stefani Jo Harvey (Brandon) of Grand Prairie, TX and Matthew James Brannan (Kira) of Ijamsville, MD; his grandchildren, Mateus and Aryanna; and his sister Jane Brannan Kendrick.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be sent to: Bethesda Chevy-Chase Chapter of IWLA, St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, Little Sisters of the Poor or a preferred charity.
