He was predeceased by: his siblings, James Hoglund and Carol Ann Sutton. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Jackie Hoglund, Jeanne Velasco, John Hoglund IV and Jennifer Henkens; his grandson Matthew Velasco; and his siblings-in-law, Florence Hoglund and Ronald Roethig. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
