He is survived by: his children, D'Armond Brooks, Ronnie Brooks, Christopher Brooks and Michelle (Brooks-Palmer); his siblings, Flora Stafford, Harry Brooks, Helen Brooks and Patsy Bucksell; and his friend Josephine Hodges. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
