With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanne Cecile Schmit of Silver Spring, Maryland, who passed away on September 2, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert Peter Schmit; her children, Lynn Schmit (George), Therese Enos (Bill), Steven, Thomas and Matthew Schmit (Amy); and her siblings, Jane, Marilyn, Carol, David and Lynn. She was also cherished by ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
