She was predeceased by: her parents, Octavia Wilson and Taft Jones; her grandson Charles Gaither, III; her siblings, James Jones and Jeanette Baldwin; and her brother-in-law Sterling Hammond.
She is survived by: her daughter Megan Gaither; her son-in-law Charles Gaither, Jr.; her siblings, Joseph Jones (Naomi), Carvel Jones (Sandra) and Pearline Hammond; and her godson Ronny Lancaster. She is also survived by nieces nephews, cousins and dear friends.
