She is survived by: her husband Reid C. Rector; her daughters, Dr. Michelle Rector Hawkins and Dr. Anne Evans (Everette); her brother Dr. Kermit Mallette, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Dr. John R. Hawkins IV (Cindy), Mercedes N. Hawkins (Doug), Everette L. Evans II and Christopher R. Evans (Shawne). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
