He was predeceased by: his brothers, William Walston and Lemuel Walston, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Janice Walston; his children, Tonya Clark, Joyce Stewart, Sophia Stewart, Kenard Walston (Tanya) and Rodney Stewart (LaKecia); his sisters, Katie Scott (late W. L.) of Suitland, Jean Frazier (Donald) of Greenbelt, Linda Moten (late John) of Tarboro, Susan Walston and Denise Walston of Tarboro; and his grandchildren, Brian Stewart (Tiger), Brianca Stewart, McKinley Stewart, Ki'ari Walston, Iyana Walston and Sheena Carter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
