He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Peggy Dayhoff; his children, James E. 'Rusty' Dayhoff, Jr. (Janet), Debra Franco, Karen Everett (Dan) and Kathleen Colliton (Andy); his grandchildren, Ben (Lindsay), Chris Everett, Nick, Zack Franco, Kaitlyn, Lauren Colliton, Ryan Speers, Lindsey Gorman (Shannon) and Taylor Babbis; his great grandchildren, Logan, Cameron and Hayden Speers; his sisters-in-law, Pam Owen, Margaret Clarke (Joe) and Marilyn Kazimir-Peckens; and his parents, Ruth Dayhoff and Alexander Davis Dayhoff. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
