He was predeceased by: his parents, Rajdei Chatterpaul and Thunusingh Chatterpaul. He is survived by: his wife Nalini Singh; his children, Preamchan Singh and Hamwattie Singh-Higgins (Geeta); his son-in-law Michael Higgins; his grandsons, Christian and Michael Jagdesh "MJ" Higgins; his pet Beans Singh; and his siblings, Chrissie, Daro, Patsy, Joyce, Birdie, Parma, Mala, Kenny and Dindo.
