She is survived by: her sons, James Leo III, Marc Alan and Kevin Patrick Monahan; her daughters-in-law, Marilyn and Jacqueline Monahan; and her grandchildren, Michael, Colin, Patrick, Sean, Kaley, Brendan, Riley Monahan, Kelly Vezeris and Keara Monahan Brown. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
