She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherrill Edson and Frances Elizabeth Richardson (Howe); her husband James Allen Swinford; and her siblings, Ruth Estelle Richardson Harvey (Millard), Lewis "Bud" Sherrill Richardson (Phyllis), Winifred A. B. Richardson Menzel (Harold), Laura "Lollie" A. S. Richardson Noxon (R. Lowell) and Nathan Howe Richardson (Betty).
She is survived by: her children, Benjamin (Kathy), Ellen (Bruce) and Philip (Pamela); her grandchildren, Jeffrey (Lizzie), Caitlin, Jillian (Corey) and Ethan; and her great grandchildren, Dallas James and Maisie Grace. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, their children and grandchildren.
