Harry W. Townsend Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Harry W. Townsend (Silver Spring, Maryland), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 98, on February 18, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry W. Townsend Sr. and Ella Mae Townsend; and his wife Gloria C. Townsend. He is survived by: his children, Steven C. Townsend and Diana L. Townsend of Silver Spring, MD.; his nieces, Torron Brinkley, Torraya and Tia Brinkley of Philadelphia, PA.; and his friends, Ann Burke, Bobby, Linda, Bernie, Robin Weems, Norman and Judy Vehannan.

The family has chosen to follow the CDC COVID-19 guidelines in order to protect the health and well-being of family and friends. Although the Service will be private, friends, family and colleagues are encouraged to participate via the Zoom link or phone numbers provided.
