He was predeceased by: his wife Rhina; his son Carlos; and his siblings, Rigoberto, Celia, Edelmira, Heraclides and Santiago.
He is survived by: his children, Roberto (Lisa Brailey) and Maria (Ari Fitzgerald); his grandchildren, Pilar, Isel and Lourdes; and his siblings, Rogelio and Alicia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
