He was predeceased by: his mother Ethel Maguire Austin Allen. He is survived by: his children, Sara Patterson (Karl Foerstchbeck), Beth Austin (Denis Chauveau), Gilbert Austin Jr. (Donna Meyers) and Mary Austin (John Franco). He is also survived by grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
