She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Corder Edwards and Felton Edwards; her parents-in-law, William and Dorothy Mercer; her son William Gregory Mercer; and her sisters, Gay Mercer (Paul) and Ardell Huffer (Lewis).
She is survived by: her husband William O. Mercer; her son Geoffrey O. Mercer; her daughters-in-law, Sharon Mercer and Cyndi Mercer; her grandchildren, Melissa K. Poland (Mike) and Isaac O. Mercer; her great grandchildren, William "Liam" and Max Poland; and her siblings, Gilbert Edwards and Joyce Johnson (Sam). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
