He was predeceased by: his parents, George Higgins and Marguerite Higgins; his son Christopher; and his brother Robert Higgins. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Higgins; his children, Alice Nichols, Lisa Higgins, PopPop, Tyler Nichols (Sarah) and Emma Nichols; and his siblings, Barbara Curtis, Joan Pisciotta, Nealy Gooding, Henry Higgins and Richard Higgins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
