She was predeceased by: her parents, MaryRuth Wood Mather and Glen Lamar Mather; her husband Arnold Gray Oakes; her former husband Albert Phillip Ehr; and her son Gregory David Ehr.

She is survived by: her children, Phillip (Susan), Jodi (David), Jeff (Jeff) and Cathy (Stephen); her grandchildren, Danielle, Christopher, Laura, Jennifer (Joshua) and Claire; her siblings, Margaret Karen Mather Wolfe and David Glen Mather (Carole); her family, Denver and Boulder; and her friend Arnie. She is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Her family continues in awe of her many new and renewed connections, including friendships begun during the pandemic.
