He is survived by: his wife Jackie Kruhm; his brother Larry Kruhm; his son Randell Young; and his grandson David Kruhm.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Lutheran Church of St. Andrew (15300 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20905). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lutheran Church of St. Andrew.
