Franklin James Duane Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin James Duane in Silver Spring, Maryland, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 27, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Duane and Kathryn Duane; and his grandson Patrick Doyle. He is survived by: his wife Regina (Jean); his children, Brian Duane (Diana) of Atlanta, GA, Carol Gillespie (Mike) of Raleigh, NC, Kerry Doyle of Milwaukee, WI, Claire Jennings (Mark) of Petaluma, CA and Diane Howse (Aaron) of Charlotte, NC.; his grandchildren, Matthew Duane (Kimberly), Karen Duane, Kimberly Duane, Mark Duane, Colleen Player (George), Casey Doyle, Grace Jennings, John Jennings, Alison Gillespie, Kyle Howse and Julia Howse; his great grandchildren, Timothy "Eli" Duane, Benjamin Duane and Theodore Duane; and his sister Margaret "Peggy" Emmet Jr. (Frank) of Queenstown.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Church (15661 Norbeck Blvd, Silver Spring, MD 20906).
