He was predeceased by: his father Frank Freeman Gladden; his siblings, Willie Mae Gladden Adams, Thomas Gladden and Eugene Gladden; his grandsons, Frank Andrew Gladden, III and Jason Inman; and his great grandchild Nevaeh Grimes.

He is survived by: his wife Vivial Gladden of Washington; his children, Frank "Frankie", Donna Gladden Inman of White Oak, MD, Kenneth Gladden (Faith) of Hurst, TX and Andrea Gladden of Adelphi, MD.; his grandchildren, Terrance Snyder, Timothy Gladden, Tineya Walker, Tierra Gladden, Tamika Lewis, Tessa Blakeney, Marlene Coleman, Arnita Young, Dwayne Inman, Brandon Inman, Deion Gladden, Sr., Destiny Gladden and Donovan Gladden; his siblings, Melvin Gladden (Hazel) of Sumpter, SC and Carolyn Gladden Waddell (Jimmie) of Spartanburg, SC; and his sisters-in-law, Martha Gladden (late Thomas Gladden), Norma Gladden (late Eugene Gladden) and Miriam Adofo (Sam). He is also survived by 29 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
