It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Z. Facchina (Silver Spring, Maryland), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on September 20, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Stella Rychlick (Stanislawa) and John Rychlick (Jan); her siblings, Lucille, Amelia, Eleanor, Joan, Carolyn and Julius; her half-sister Helen; her adoptive father Joseph (Rose Zientarski); her husband Columbus Facchina; and her children, Paul (Melissa), Lorraine (James), Maria (Jeffrey), Joseph (Eileen), Robert (Susan), Christina (late Richard), Regina (Lee), Bernard, Philip (Hillary) and Matthew (late Cheri). She was also cherished by 33 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
