She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Vanish and Katherine Vanish; her husband James Patrick Rodgers; her daughter Kimberly Malengo (Mark) of Damascus, MD; her granddaughters, Paige and Taylor of New York City; her son Doug Rodgers (Julie); her grandsons, Jack of Morristown, NJ, Finn of Morristown, NJ and Wyatt of Morristown, NJ; her brother George Vanish (Francis) of Prince Frederick, MD; and her sister-in-law Nancy Gottshall.

While living the last several years of her life with Alzheimer's in residence at Olney Memory Care, the qualities that defined her remained intact.
