With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eugene H. Preston Jr. (Silver Spring, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 26, 2024 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eugene H. Preston Jr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Preston and Eugene Hammett Preston, Sr.; his wife Elizabeth Hill Preston; and his son Edwin Hanford Preston. He is survived by: his sons, Eugene Hammett Preston, III and Eric Henry Preston (Delica); his grandchildren, Daizsa Elizabeth Preston Jackson (Christopher), Dy'on Marco Alphonso Preston, Donovan Elias Preston and Paulos Menelik Preston; and his daughters-in-law, Mamie Preston (Edwin) and Delica Tammy Preston (Eric). He is also survived by family members and friends.
