It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ellen Darr of Silver Spring, Maryland, who passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband David Darr; her children, Melanie Bachrach and Jonathan Darr (Nyana Singh); her siblings, Barbara Grad (Peter Allen) and Joel Horwitz; her grandchildren, Ashleigh, Joshua and Adam; and her great grandchildren, Mila, Elio and Javi.
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Congregation Beth El (8215 Old Georgetown Rd, Bethesda, MD 20814).
Memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Beth El, the Beth El Preschool, and to JSSA Hospice.
