With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Elizabeth Mescher (Silver Spring, Maryland), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Elizabeth left this world on April 29, 2024 at the age of 103, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Elizabeth leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Elizabeth may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She is survived by: her husband Edward; and her sons, Michael and Joseph. She is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson – soon to be joined by a brother.

“I have known Mrs. Mescher for 50+ years ever since my family and I joined SJE. She was a very kind lady. Mr. Mescher, her late husband? was a lector and he and I many times were co-lecturing over the years. May her soul rest in peace. My deepest condolences to her family. Love Tony Magri”
