He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Penny Lappas (Paul), Philia Swam and Georgia Myers (Jeff); his grandchildren, Maria Lappas, Dimitri Lappas (Dimitra), Alexandra Swam and Noah Myers; his parents, Panagiotis Pantazopoulos and Panagiota Pantazopoulos; his siblings, Sotirios Pantazopoulos and Georgia Nathenas (late Kostas); and his nieces and nephews, Penny O'Donnell (Michael), Pete Pantazopoulos, Pelagia Nathenas, John Berberoglu (Susan), Patrick O'Donnell and Samantha Pantazopoulos.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church (721 Norwood Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20905). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906).
