It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Hope (Joseph) Bonwit (Silver Spring, Maryland), born in Hempstead, New York, who passed away on April 27, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Morris Joseph and Gertrude Joseph (Silberstein); her daughters, Karen Slutsky (Mark) of Natick, MA and Judy Brown (Bill) of Dexter; her grandchildren, Simon Slutsky (Mollie), Deborah Sherwin (Ben) and Dan Blethen (Danielle); her great grandchildren, David and Oren; and her sister Marion Schoen.
Memorial contributions may be made to Chelsea Retirement Community to be used for the staff.
