Eileen Coan Tarkington Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eileen Coan Tarkington of Silver Spring, Maryland, who passed away on July 27, 2022, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Daniel Kevin Tarkington (Mary Kathleen); her husband Frank; and her grandson Bret. She is survived by: her sons, Frank Victor Tarkington (Sylvia), Steven Alan Tarkington (Martha) and Robert Lee Tarkington (Jacqueline); and her grandchildren, Stacey Bandfield (Jimmy), Brian Tarkington (Beth), Whitney Tarkington, Hilary Stowers (Sam), Robyn Funkhouser, Evan Tarkington and Steven Tarkington. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Eileen's memory to the Montgomery County Humane Society or to WETA.
