She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred R. Basil-Sewell and Clifford M. Young. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Corum; her daughters, Paulette White (Robert White), Diann Jackson and Jacqueline Turner; her grandchildren, Eric Thompson, Bronda Jackson, Marcellus White and Bianca White; her great grandchildren, Christopher, Ednetta, Jeremy, Theodore, Janetta and Kie; and her siblings, Henry Jackson (Deborah) and Roberta Higginbotham. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, a host of family members and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
