He is survived by: his children, Brenda Cleaves (John) and Brad Rupert (Norma); his grandchildren, Samuel Cleaves (Maria), Stacy Cleaves (Mark Sanger), Steven and Stefanie Rupert; and his great grandchildren, Karla, Adriel and Kianna Cleaves. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
