He was predeceased by: his parents, Nuell Williams and Lurline Williams. He is survived by: his wife Maynette D. Williams; his brother Dale Williams (Nell); his son Zane Williams; his daughter-in-law Michelle Williams; his daughter Elizabeth Williams; and his granddaughters, Camille, Claire Williams and Sydonna Perdew. He is also survived by many other family members, friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the University of Arkansas Foundation designated for the Doyle Z. and Maynette D. Williams Endowed Fellowship for a Masters of Accounting Student, the Kennesaw State University Foundation for the endowment of the Doyle Z. Williams Fellowship for a Master's of Accounting Student. The Louisiana State University Foundation designated for the Doyle Z. Williams Accounting Professorship, and the Northwestern State University Foundation for the Doyle Z. Williams Scholarship Fund.
