He was predeceased by: his wife Michelina D'Avella; and his brothers, Domenico D'Avella, Antonio D'Avella and Giovanni D'Avella. He is survived by: his children, Felice D'Avella and Lucia Mamana (David); and his grandchildren, Sofia, Massimo, Domenico D'Avella, Michelina, Giovanni and Marco Mamana. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
