He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Wilmot; his mother Violet Patterson; his stepfather Jasper Patterson; and his siblings, Arthur, Percy and Mary.
He is survived by: his siblings, Wilfred, Dudley and Doris; his children, Dudley (Andrea), Marcia "Joy" and Robert "Robb" (Nancy); and his stepsons, Keith and Leroy (Diana). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten step grandchildren, and a generation of great grandchildren.
