He is survived by: his children, Shawann King (late John), Tennille Watkins (Tony Messer), Donald Watkins Jr. and Camille Watkins; his siblings, Robert O Watkins Jr. (Clara) and Rolanda C. Warren (Nate); his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Bryan, Dora Cornish, Carolyn Bean, William Chester (Margaret), Robert Chester (Merle), Gary Bryan (Sharon) and Michael Bryan; and his grandchildren, Jaikym Watkins, Jaedyn Messer, Anarri King, Ashlynn King, James Messer, Jaycin Messer, William Messer (Junior) and Journey Messer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
