He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carolyn Caspar Mayse; his daughter Theresa Mayse Downey; his brother Jerry Mayse; his parents, Vernon Mayse and Dorothy Zenthoefer Mayse; his children, Donald, Steve Mayse, Joan Lynch (Jim Mackey) and Karen Vincent (Alex Vincent); his grandchildren, Veronica, Jessica Vincent and Joe Downey (Celeste); his children, Sam, Ellie and Max Downey; his great grandchildren, Jasper and Althea Downey; and his siblings, Dosey Mayse Lehman (Dan), Mick Mayse (Georgia) and Rosie Mayse. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
