He was predeceased by: his father Wilmer Garvick; and his siblings, Gary and Betty. He is survived by: his wife Marie Garvick; his daughters, Salinda (Paul Messenger), Debbie (Mark Allison) and Diane (D. J. Pelton); his grandchildren, Carolyn Messenger-Bernabe, Michael Messenger, David Messenger, Patricia Messenger, Laura Messenger, Rhiannon Pelton and Cody Pelton; and his great grandchildren, Rosalina and Ginger Bernabe.
