She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lucy Voris Emmett and John Gordon Yates; her husband Gerald B Howard Sr. (Chip); her sons, Gerald B Howard Jr. (Mary) and Mark E Howard (Anne); her grandchildren, Lisa C Howard, Kelly A Jones (Brian), Shannon H Wesley (Adam) and James K Howard (Lauren); her great grandchildren, Jonas Solano, Sam Jones and Sean Jones; and her sister Shirley Jenkins.
